CIF PRGRAMME PARIS   SEPTEMBER  2011 - PARIS AND SE FRANCE

October 5, 2011

Two confreres from the Australian Proviince of the Congregation of the Mission, Frs Jioji Bilowalu CM and Greg Walsh CM are currently attending a two months programme of the Vincentian International Formation Centre (CIF) being held at the Maison Mère of the Vincentians in Paris.

Greg Walsh writes that on September 20, the group went to visit Old Saint Lazare (Paris).  From September 24-25,  they travelled through the  south-east of France. On the Saturday they went to Joigny,  then Chatillon, and Ars.  At Ars they stayed overnight and then went on to Beaune the next day,  visiting the medieval hospital there which is preserved as a museum. Then to Catherine Laboure's home where the Daughters showed them around and provided a great lunch. Finally,  back to Paris.   On the September 26, the group went to Clichy in the north of Paris for  Mass.

Note that the photos below are not arranged in the order of the places visited.
