FIJI STUENTS - CANDIDACY AND GOOD PURPOSES 2010 

 

Papila Tonga - admitted  to Candidacy

 

SUVA:  Three new Seminarians were accepted to commence their formation at Wailoku, Fiji  this year  These men arrived at Wailoku on January 19 to join the ten returning students, making a total of thirteen in the Formation House there. These students are: Messrs Papila Tonga (Tonga)), Qorio Toqiniwa (Fiji), Vincent Manehoua (Solomon Islands), Benjamin Paka (Solomon Islands), Romano Pesira ((Solomon Islands), Sowani Raivuni (Fiji), Francis Nori (Solomon Islands), Otma Naki (Papua New Guinea), Gideon Tahunieti (Solomon Islands), Lorensio Kinika (Solomon Islands), Rudolf Auklea (Papua New Guinea), Paul None (Solomon Islands), and Andrew Ani (Solomon Islands).

On January 27, six of the these young men mentioned above  made their Bon Propos (Good Purposes) , and Papila Tonga was admitted as a Candidate for  Ordination.   Below are some photos of the occasion.
