NEWLY APPOINTED VISITORS COMPLETE COURSE IN ROME

ROME, 10/1/12: As the course for New CM Visitors in Rome draws to a close (see also item below for 4/1/12), Fr Michael Walsh CM of the Australian Province sends these photos:

Fr Walsh also writes

Fr Greg Gay (CM Superior General) sends his special greetings to all, especially those who are sick and those experiencing any difficulties.

He also expressed his condolences on the deaths of Frs Alan Commins CM, Les Troy CM and Brian Jackson.CM, of the Australian Province.

 

 

 

4/1/12  Newly appointed Visitors attend course in Rome

ROME, :Fr Mick Walsh CM, Visitor of the Australian Province of the Congregation of the Mission, is currently in Rome attending a course for newly appointed  CM Visitors.

 He writes:

Greetings from Rome . The New Visitors course started last night. There are eighteen participants from Asia, South America, Africa and Europe . Greg Gay (Superior General) noted publicly that I was the oldest participant!  

There are four translators.  

 I noted that there are three new Visitors who have previously served as a Visitor of their Province and have now been recycled.  

Greg Gay advised that Fr Dick McCullen (Irish Province of CMs, former Superior General) is gravely ill in Ireland .
