ST VINCENT'S DAY CELEBRATIONS - ASHFIELD 2011

28/9/11: St Vincent de Paul's Feast, which falls on September 27, was celebrated in the parish pf St Vincent de Paul at Ashfield, Sydney, on the previous Sunday, September 25.
Sunday September 25 was also Social Justice Sunday.
The confreres in the local community concelebrated at the 10 am parish Mass, with Fr Michael Walsh CM as principal celebrant and Fr John Halloran CM delivering the homily.. After the Eucharist, the parishioners began a day of celebration with a variety of festivities which concluded with the 6pm Mass in he church.
Unfortunately, most activities for the day had to be restricted to the parish hall due to inclement weather!
