LUCKY ESCAPE AT ST VINCENT'S

 

 

Fr Michael Walsh CM sends information of a lucky escape for St Vincent's Church at Ashfield in Sydney.  On last Saturday evening (June 16), a stolen car was set alight in the church carpark. The car was totally destroyed; shade cloth in the children's play area area near the church was extensively damaged. The wooden awning of the church was very close but fortunately a major crisis was averted, maybe by the rain.  See pictures below:
