This year, the Daughters of Charity are celebrating 80 years since their arrival in Australia.  A number of celebrations are taking place around the country.  The most recent was on the afternoon of Sunday June 3, when a number of the sisters gathered at Field of Mars Cemetery in North Ryde, Sydney, to remember in prayer those Daughters of Charity who have lived and died in Australia. The afternoon concluded with light refreshments for the living !
