This year the Australian Province
of the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentian Priests and
Brothers) has thirteen students in formation, eleven of
whom are at Wailoku, Fiji, and two at
Marsfield, Sydney. This
represents an increase of six students with respect to last year.
Three of the new students are
from from Fiji
and three are from the Solomon Islands.:
The three students from
Fiji are
Mr Petero Masi, aged 21, from
Delasui (Viti Levu); Mr Luke Kanabati, aged 30 from Naduri (Vanua
Levu); and Mr Sowani Raivuni, aged 30 from Navunisole (Viti Levu)
The three students from the Solomon Islands are: Mr Vincent
Manehoua, aged 32 (Malaita Province); Mr Benjamin Paka, aged 29
(Guadalcanal Province); and Mr Romano Pesira, aged 34 (Makira
Province [San Cristobal]).

These six men join with the five returning students in Fiji: Mr Papila Tonga (5th year); Mr Maika Tupua (4th
year); Mr Alosio Silatolu (4th year); Mr Qorio
Toqiniwa (2nd year); and Mr Semi Vereti (2nd
year). All eleven will live at
Wailoku, Fiji.

In Australia, at Marsfield, Sydney, there are two students, who have returned for their
second year of formation: Mr Neil Lams and Mr Choy Sanchez.
