Vincent de Paul was born in 1581 at Ranquine, a hamlet near
the village of Pouy (now known as St Vincent de Paul), a few
kilometres from Dax in the south-west
of France. He died in Paris in 1660. A number of places which were
significant in his life can remind us of his greatness. Some of
these places are depicted below as they are today.
